No longer qualified to be a SIGGRAPH Student Volunteer? Want to know more about and contribute to a specific conference program like the Computer Animation Festival, Emerging Technologies, or others? Not sure how to get involved as a recent grad? Thinking about someday applying to be on a SIGGRAPH subcommittee? If you answered “Yes!” to these questions, then this is the program for YOU!
The SIGGRAPH 2015 X-SV Program is a unique opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes perspective on everything involved with a specific SIGGRAPH 2015 conference program. This program is open to former Student Volunteers who are inspired to stay involved with SIGGRAPH beyond the Student Volunteer Program.
As an X-SV, you will help support a specific conference program, be mentored by a SIGGRAPH 2015 Committee member, and have the opportunity to meet and learn from professionals, creators, educators, visionaries, and each other. Former Student Volunteers who demonstrate leadership and a passion for volunteering for SIGGRAPH are encouraged to apply!
This experience is available to those who are no longer eligible for the SIGGRAPH 2015 conference as a Student Volunteer or Team Leader. High school, undergraduate, or graduate students enrolled full time for at least one semester during the 2014-2015 academic year (summer 2014 – spring 2015) are NOT eligible. Applicants must have participated in the SIGGRAPH Student Volunteer Program for at least two years. One of those years of involvement must have been within the last two years (SIGGRAPH 2013, Anaheim and/or SIGGRAPH 2014, Vancouver).
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to expand your knowledge of what goes into putting this awesome conference together each year!
