PatchTable: Efficient Patch Queries for Large Datasets and Applications

A method that accelerates approximate-nearest-neighbor queries for image patches in large datasets. Queries are accelerated by up to 9x over k-coherence, up to 12x over TreeCANN, and up to 200x over PatchMatch. Applications include artistic video stylization, light field super-resolution, and multi-image editing.

Learning Visual Similarity for Product Design With Convolutional Neural Networks

Embedding visual search in interior design and using it to find stylistically similar products. The system's convolutional neural network uses pairs of images scraped from the web and processed with crowdsourcing to identify specific products and associate them with related designs.
